Today we’re releasing a guide on how to get started with Nectra on Citrea testnet and announcing the release of the Points Campaign.
In case you missed last week’s post, Nectra is a novel lending protocol that allows Bitcoiners to borrow Bitcoin-backed stablecoins using only Bitcoin as collateral. Nectra's immutable smart contracts offer a trust-minimized way of transforming your BTC into a productive asset. As part of this testnet phase, we’re rolling out the Nectra Points Campaign — a way for users to collect points by interacting with the protocol and participating in the community.
You can already start collecting points by completing the following tasks:
Keep an eye on Discord and X for more details on the community activities. More methods for earning points will be announced over time.
Shortly after Nectra is deployed to mainnet, testnet points will be convertible into mainnet points. More details on this process will be released closer to the time.
Any sybil attacks attempting to create multiple accounts or otherwise abuse the points system will result in the points being removed and excluded from the Points Campaign.
A referral program is on the way. Soon, you’ll be able to invite others to explore Nectra and collect points together. Stay tuned for updates.
